Who leads your tours?
Context tours are led by "experts." We call them this because they are so much more than tour guides.
They can't wait to show you their city and share its stories, their favorite local spots, and landmarks you can't miss. Both experts in their field and consummate hosts, our experts take the time to understand what lights you up and helps you connect deeply to the city you're visiting.
Our tours are led by experts in art history, archaeology, cuisine, architecture, history, theology, and more. Whether you're strolling the cobbled streets of Copenhagen with an archaeologist who works at the Glyptoteket to piece together which buildings existed before and after the city's fires or tasting the main types of cheese that you find in Italian flavors on a food tour with a fellow foodie — our experts show you the local perspective you can't find online.
What makes your tours different?
Simply put, Context tours go deeper to help you discover bucketlist venues and "un-Googleable" spots in a different light.
We strive to help you build authentic connection to both cities and the people who call them home as you learn more about them. We take the time to get to know you, spend time going deeper on what you truly care about, and truly hosting you during our time together. Context experiences go one step further by opening your eyes to the details that would otherwise go unseen and unnoticed about a culture. And who knows, you might even learn a little about yourself along the way.
What happens if I need to cancel my trip?
Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the tour date are eligible for a 100% refund or 100% future travel credit (less ticket, reservation, and applicable service fees).
Cancellations made between 29 days and 48 hours prior to the tour date are eligible for a 50% refund or 50% future travel credit, less any ticket, reservation, and/or applicable service fees.
All sales are final within 48 hours of the tour date.
Venue tickets and reservation fees are non refundable and non transferable and cannot be used without a Context tour.
In the event that you request a tour reschedule, Context will need to purchase and charge for new tickets / reservation fees. Read our full cancellation policy here.
